Minors and Medical Procedures
Tripmeant does not independently arrange elective medical procedures for unaccompanied minors under any circumstances.
Any minor (under 18) travelling for a medical procedure must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the full duration of travel and treatment.
Written, notarized parental/guardian consent is required prior to booking confirmation, in addition to any consent required directly by the treating clinic or hospital.
Final authority on whether a minor may legally consent to or receive a given procedure rests with the treating clinic and the applicable local law of the treatment destination—not with Tripmeant. Age-of-consent rules for medical treatment vary by country, and in the U.S. and Canada, by state/province.
