Adventure & Wellness Travel Policy

Age, safety, and booking guidelines for adventure & wellness travel.

Free Booking Eligibility

Children under 2 years of age (infants) travel free of charge on all adventure and wellness packages, provided they share accommodation and transport with a paying adult and do not require a separate bed or seat.

Child Discount Policy

For children who do not qualify for free travel, the following age-based discounts apply to the land package price.

Age range status discount on land package:

Under 2 years (infant) free 100% off

Land cost 2–5 years discounted 50% off

Land cost 6–11 years discounted 25% off

Land cost 12 years and above full fare no discount (adult rate applies).

Adult-to-Child Ratio

  • A minimum of one accompanying adult (18 years or older) is required per booking.

  • A maximum of two children may be accompanied by one adult.

  • For physically demanding itineraries (high-altitude trekking, multi-day expeditions), a minimum child age of 8 years applies, regardless of ratio. Tripmeant reserves the right to request a medical fitness declaration for minors.

  • Additional supervising adults may be required for groups with more than two children, at Tripmeant's discretion, for safety reasons.
